Thanks for the Comment 02V8Sport, I was kind of iffy on the color at first but grew on me, but love the car 25,000 miles on it hopefully I dont have to much problems hahaha

There is definatley a drop in the future for this car, I am low at heart. (I have a nissan pickup on bags) I don't have too many plans for the engine because I had a 96 Impala SS that I did alot of work to, so I don't have the speed bug...yet. I figure an exhaust, drop, wheels, and a nice audio video system. I do like the looks of the Razzi body kit, so maybe...

golden rims....rims tires for 1000, but they might have been stolen...i didnt ask though....if u wanna see a close up here (take chrome wheels off in snow)

Got her finished and here's some new pics not in the other posts.
Everywhere I go people compliment me on how beautiful the car is.
Added a few woodgrain pieces from an Ebay kit to help finish off the interior.

Just washed it and took pics last night. I know they are stock wheels, but I just got them from Camthman (Cameron), and I LOVE them! Big thanks to you man for keeping them in such great condition. The chrome pillars are coming off, thats my new project. Here it is, what do you think?

. I have actually only seen my same color 1 time that I know of, at a car wash. So it's nice having something a little different.

I had the full brow like you pektel but thought it covered too much of the headlight lens making the car look "sleepy" plus was too bumpy and needed block sanding.
Painting a half brow was very easy while I was doing the bumper chrome.
Why don't more of you 1st Gen guys paint your bumper chrome to colormatch.
I know it's not as smooth as a "Sport" bumper but would still be a great low cost improvement.
The 1st Gen bumper chrome sticks out like a sore thumb even more so than the 2nd Gen chrome.
I would guess the bumper trim is plastic like the 2nd Gen cars but even if its metal painting it would still be pretty easy.

04SCTLS, I know the V8 doesnt come with chrome on the bumpers from 03-06. You have a V8 badge on your trunk. You said before that you put the chrome bumpers on and now you painted the chrome?

And you also had 6 vents on your car which everyone knows 6 vents=V6, 8 vents=V8, so which do you really have?

That doesnt make sense to me. Im confused, clear this up for me.

I have the V8 Sport Ultimate.
When I bought the car I had the bumper chrome put on as I felt the car looked very plain.
After a year I had a change of heart and painted the chrome.
Those vents I put on and have now taken off were just decorative and there really wasn't room for four of them on the fender.
Now the car is back to the clean look.

He isnt talking about those Buick vents. I would lke to know which ones he is talking of though.

L.L's, I like those Tail lights but Im not digging that engine bay, bumper grill or those doors. Great effort regardless!

I got the ADR M-Sports just the other day. Im still waiting or a dry day so I can go out and get pics but how do you like the ADR's as far as quality goes.

they good man like i didn't know what i wanted intel i saw them from someone on here that sold them to me ! an i just wanted them so bad when i saw them.i didn't want 20'' rims everyone is doing that they 19'' rims i like to make my car different from every one! like i see other ls in london (ONTARIO) same color but they always come an look at my car ! an knowing that they wish there car was like that!

The car is actually clean!!! Well, WAS clean until it rained today..

The painted rear surround is back at the painter's since the paint was bubbling off. Hate that chrome on there.

pinstripe was on there when i bought it and the detail on the trunk lid. first nah didnt care for it now think its kinda cool looking

but that stripe does sorta break it a bit, since its black with black interior really needed something with the real dark tint

you needa add some tint, maybe 15-20% max and that thing would be sooooo cooooool.......

EDIT: why some of u guys got just tint on the back side windows and rear and nothing on the front two windows? never seen that around here - everone always gets tint all around. just curious?

states have different laws on how dark tint can be on all windows. most states don't allow any on the front two or windshield

in ky its 35 front 18 rear but most peeps get like 15 or 20. i've always had 15 tho theres been a few times i had to strip it then have it replaced

i had a cop told me long as u keep the two front windows down when ur driving thru the downtown part of the city ur cool

Since my last pic post, pg.4, I've added vinyl eyelids and with the extra vinyl I covered the inside portion of the foglights, and used some to make a Lincoln star for the third brake light. I also used a thin strip to re-attach the "LINCOLN" badge on the rear. The letters are glued onto the strip of vinyl. Let me know what ya'll think about it.

The lettering had been on the pass. side dash trim. When I peeled the off I messed up the paint so tonight I've had to go to the hardware store and get sandpaper to sand and repaint the trim. I ran out of daylight so I've given up on it for today, so tomorrow I might be posting an interior pic. (depending on how it comes out

)

IMHO i do not like the lincoln on the back, but it shows ingenuity. applause for branching out of the norm but i do not like it. about the fogs, is it just aesthetically?

Thats the reason why I didn't really attach the letters to the car, I wasn't too sure about it. But since I had them off anyway, why not give it a try?

Yeah, after I did the eyelids I thought the foglights were disproportionately big; so I put the vinyl on to make them smaller. Also, no light shines through because the part I covered appeared to be just a reflector.
