Yup. That's what I initially wanted, but not for the coin that they go for. Not a real big fan of the McLaren, but I wanted to have something done before I went down to Georgia. Plus I got the grille pretty cheap and had that and the rear surround painted pretty cheap as well. When money frees up, I'll be picking up the LSE grille.

Yeh Mclaren grilles IMHO are only for certain color LS's, usually the lighter colored. That definately looks better than stock on your car, but the LSE would look gorgeous.

Thanks man, yea now I have 20% in the front and 5% in the rear windows, not so much because of the cops, but more that with 5% I just couldn't see at night

I like the lip too but my fav on my car has to be the tail lights and backup lights the guy that did them has to be the best in the midwest its dark vynil covering so i could peel it off if i had to so its way better then spray and also no one can steal them like the covers

Yep, you're right. I thought the V6 got 6-spoke, but that isn't correct. At least in 2004, they were 7 spoke.

I went with zyoxx ZX-8 (I think that's the ones). Decided if I couldn't get a graphite wheel that chrome would go best with my all black 03. Those look amazing on your vivid red!

No i didnt have to modify the bumper or the crash foam under the cover. but if you look really really close i just cut up the 1st gen lower air defuser to fit the 2nd gen bumper. but after you paint things it takes the focus off them and applies it to the whole car, insted of just one componet.
You do have to do something about the trunk though. You can either get the 2nd gen truck, or shave the 1st gen trunk like i did. I would recomend just getting the 2nd gen trunk lid. I keep having insues with the filer craking. There is only like 1/24 inch of filler on the panle though. the main part of the job was done by a hand shaped peice of metal.

gt, i did my bumper lights black as well. the only thing i did was remove that light all together. i didn't like that it showed through. plus, the turn signal works in the housing anyway. i like your 03+ fogs as well.

right click the pic, open with ---> paint, sketch & Skew, i usually do 20-30 % unless the pic isnt huge then just mess around 40-50%

thanks and i agree it will all come together soon. the wheels are NS Racing Vegas rims on 245/35/20 Wanli's. putting on Nitto NT555's next month. i think that is going to be a nice combo.

Just put on my new wheels and the 02 WW kit modified to fit the 04.
Still gotta install the color matched angel eye HID lights.
And yes guys I will finally take off the fender vents when I put the new lights in.
Might still paint the bumper chrome as my car is actually a V8 sport ultimate.

The side skirts take the place of the factory rockers and there's no adjustment. They're styled to stick out a bit.
I'll post some pics again when I install the angel eyes and remove the port holes.

04SCTLS, How do you have V6 bumpers on your V8, didnt those chrome strips only come on the V6 models from 03-05?

I know the 00-02 V8 non-sports had them. Did you swap bumpers?

I also didnt know there was a Sport Ultimate as you stated in your post.

I always thought it was one or the other. Correct me if Im wrong, Im just curious.

I had the V6 bumper chrome put in when I got the car a year ago
and had blinged the it up for a while.
To me the car looked very plain with so little chrome.
Here it is last year with the hood emblem from a continental.
You guys may now go into convulsions....
It was fun for a while and all this stuff easily peels off.
This year I've come back into the fold with the skirt kit I'm going for a more clean look and will probably colormatch the bumper chrome but may put the chrome trunk surround back on.
Does anyone else use the round adjustable blindspot mirrors?
They save me so much of the looking over my shoulder action and give an extra layer of safety.
They're only 3.00 a pair and I've had them on all my cars going back over 15 years.

The important thing here is that I like it.
I think the cars look kinda plain stock IMO.
You may like your car the way it is but I get compliments all the time about mine.
Girls and women like the vents as they don't have a buick mental block.
I use my stock wheels for winter tires and have always liked skirt kits.
I like chrome wheels while others like silver or black.

OK so I've been slacking in the picture department so when I let my dog out, I snapped a few picks. To date I have painted my eyelids (needs to be redone) tinted my tails, installed a Pioneer D3, and fitted her with some 20" akuzas with Toyo T1R's. Much more to come, but here she is as she sits now.

and of course one from the Rekless cruise (no wheels yet)

I used some model tint spray paint.... same thing as VHT nightshades for the most part. Does a better job IMO and only cost 5 bucks a can.

clean em off real well (windex works great, but alcohol is a must)

aply enough even coats of tint to get desired shade. allow plenty of dry time.

cover with 2-3 coats of clear coat protectant and let dry.

install back in your ride. buff to nice shine and watch as people druel

I have A Scissor-Slide Lambo Kit in the back seat I need to install too and also future mods will be installing black '06 GT Spoiler and Hood Scoop, chrome dipping the door handles backing part leaving the handles black, bending a black billit fuel door to fit the LS, replacing bumper w/ a Gen2 LSE bumper, replacing headlights to the Gen2's, Swapping the engine out to a bored and stroked '99-'04 Cobra 4.6L Motor with a T-56 Tranny and with a few more body and interior mods......

luxury car or not body is for looks...motor, tranny, and chasis is the main part of the car without them you can't drive but without the body (fenders, doors, etc.) you can still drive so why does it matters? Why are mercedes kickin ass with there V12s? Why do they have a Project Cadillac STS going down the track with 700 horses? and Why are BMW with also the same type of vehicle as the LS is the Highlight to European Racing? Why can't Luxury Sport Cars from Ford ((LS, MARK VII and VIII)) also step into the battlefield?

hey guys im a new ls owner and i love this car ive wanted it since i was 14 now im 18 and i love it its my dream car its my pride and joy i just bought it thursday for a little over 9,000 with 70K miles on it and a 5 year warrenty on it covering everything from a little scratch to the engine and transmission problems the car is in brand new condition runs like a new car carfax says only one previous owner i think i got a pretty good deal on it i went to my freinds dealership and he took care of me pretty well the car was 12000 on his lot the car is still stock but i plan on doin the following mods with in the next 2 months

*tints
*rims
*xenon kit
*angel eyes
*custom grille

#2. Fix the condensation in the headlights (btw, i had the same proplem with mine when i got my LS. Most of the time it's just the seal around the bulbs, so replacing the bulbs fixes it. Take them out and let them dry inside somewhere (house, garage, etc.) and then put some new bulbs in)

hey guys thanks for making fun of my tips lol i acutally dident put them on they were there when i got the car and my car is a v8 im not really sure if its a sport? whats the differnce? i think it is? anyways point is im happy wiht my car and im removing those tips there ugly i only put 93 gas in my car and i love the way it runs no problems at all

Hey man, yae there just teasing. Welcome to LVC. Your car is a premium if you have the chrome bumpers. Chromeless is sport. There are other differences like woodgrain steering wheel and knob and type of wheels.

we pretty much bought the same car sir. i paid about $9k for my 00'lsv8 navy blue, with about 68k about a year and a half ago(same wheels, rear badges, color)... since then i have done a decent amount to it... every little mod makes me love my car that much more. good luck with the mods... keep the pictures coming...

Oh yeah for those who wants to complain about about how the LS is a family car and not a Race car...Me, probably the only one that knows this but the LS was built by Lincoln's Engineer sending out 3 teams (unnoticable to the outside world),
1 in Nascar, 1 in Formula Racing, and one in CART Racing...Those team we in the races for a special reasons and that's to collect data on what can be done to be better and once they found the recipe for a
High Performance Luxury Car they brought back to the Engineer and from those data they build the Lincoln LS... The Lincoln LS was suppose to be a Powerful car thats Fuel Efficient [(3.9) V8] and
make Smooth Turns at a High Speed Rate and also the Suspension was built so it wouldn't Pinch much when your Aggressively Braking and Accelerating. Always wondered why the LS drive so great don't yall?
And if nobody knows Consumer Report Claims that the Lincoln LS Handling is near Perfect......

I haven't posted here since I got a few more things done. Completed mods so far:

Exterior:

Clear Corners/ Side markers
V8 logo on front fenders
6000K hid's in lows/fogs
Eyebrows painted
Mclaren Grille-center left black
Remove front license plate - still needs some better work to look right
Magnaflow mufflers with 3.5" angle cut rolled tips - cut into bumper
50% legal tint (sucks but whatever)

The only pic I have of the interior is of the head unit.

I installed it in my garage. Kenwood DDX 7015. Purchased from another member here who was getting rid of it and his navigation, which is what you see on the screen. I got the head unit, nav, bezel, and ipod interface for relatively cheap (under a grand)

Well, I didn't retain steering wheel controls, because I never use them anyway. The bypass he's probably referring to is being able to watch movies while the car is in Drive. Mine was easy. There was a separate ground wire that I was supposed to wire to the parking brake. I just spliced it into the regular ground wire with a t-tap. It depends on which unit you're looking at. Some are much easier to bypass than others.
