Upgrades for 93 mk8 speakers

I'm looking for a decent upgrade for the factory speakers on a 93, anyone have any suggestions? I'm willing to spend 200 or so for the speakers alone.

I used four Infinity Kappa 572.5cf speakers attached to an aftermarket amp in the trunk. I couldn't get them to work with the factory amp.

It's a better setup for it though.
