I have a 2004 LS with the 3.0 v6, when I first got it the power more then I ecspected but now almost 4 yrs and 90+ k later its shows its age and is ready for a rebuild.... Im trying to find out if I can take internals from a stane (mustang) 3.8 v6 and build a nice little stroker....I can get the parts from a friend for little to nothing, I just dont want to take it all apart and it not work.

you would be better off getting another lower mileage 3.0. i believe the 3.8 internals are too big

No go, that 3.8 is Essex class IIRC, and the 3.0 is Duratec. Two totally different beasts. You might want to try to integrate some of the components from the MKZ's 3.5L
