Whats a good website to buy some headlights most I see on ebay are all 200 bucks.

Posted by: JoeyLincolnMK8

I do not think you are going to get any cheaper than on that auction site!

Maybe here:

http://fordpartswebsite.com/

Posted by: Goddard-MarkVIII

good site thanks but no headlights.

Posted by: unity

For a 93-96 or 97/98 HID?

Posted by: Goddard-MarkVIII

its 97 only need 1 unless the one I buy is different from the original

Posted by: unity

Ah.. ok, nevermind. LOL eBay may be best.

Posted by: Staffamerica74

I found the housing I need on there... (96 hid right side housing already have the left) but its like 660 dollars

Posted by: Goddard-MarkVIII

After hearing that makes 200 bucks seem like nothing. Doesn't seem like that little plastic would cost so much.

Posted by: Staffamerica74

lol well quarters are listed at like 1100 per side... yikes!

You can also try www.car-parts.com. I have used that site many times, it is a site that centralizes junk/salvage yards all over the country.

Posted by: Calabrio

I hope you don't need a bulb also.

Posted by: 1wykdmk8

The second gen bulbs are slightly easier to get than the first gen bulbs. Thats why I purchased a used set of first gen HID housings from that link I provided and will be modifying them to accept either aftermarket HID's or Ion projectors.

Send me a PM if you want info on the conversion kit.

I Have a brand new left side 97-98 that the HID bulb was broken and removed, but the rest of the headlight is complete. The retail for a new empty one would be like you said $310.27 and LVC would be $223.39(F7LZ-13008-DB/CB) Ill let this one go for the first $150.00 plus ups that calls...or emails me. (p/n on box is for the old complete headlight F7LZ-13008-DA.)

Anybody know of a good source for one of these? The highbeam bulb is a cheap replacement, but they owner's manual mentions a trip to the stealership for replacement of the lowbeam.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Mike
