THX and Mobile-Ease - Compatible?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I have a cool, new MKZ, which I love! I wanted to add the Mobile-Ease Bluetooth adapter to my car. I have the THX/Nav system (which is cool, too!). The dealer has been unable to get the Mobile-Ease to work with the THX. When I press the voice button I get the prompts. I can pair my phone, add numbers to the address book, and even dial numbers through my cell phone. The problem comes up when my cell phone connects to a call (incoming or outgoing): there is no audio. There is total quietness. I can press the button to transfer the audio back to the phone, pick-up my phone, and the connection has been made and there is audio on the phone. I don't know why I don't get the audio when on a call. The radio is muted exactly as I would expect. Has anyone run into this problem? I really want to get this working.

I just got an '07 MKZ, "light sage" in color......love the car.....didn't need one "all loaded up", 'cause they come with so much standard stuff.....all I got was a moonroof and the heated/cooled front seats.......it'll haul ass, too.....lot of power for a V-6......what color is yours? Sorry I can't help you with all that electronic stuff....don't really give a damn about it.....you'll get it worked out, probably......good luck, Man......Ed.

We found that the Mobile-Ease module was bad. It was replaced and it works good now!
