Question about 98 doghouse

hi everyone have a question. I have been in body and paint for 35 years, and my question is, I have a 93 Mark VIII at the shop in need of a front end. Is there a reason that a 98 front end wouldn't fit a 93? The doors look the same. Just curious. Thanks Jeff

Ive seen pics of one with a gen 2 front end on a gen 1. So it can be done. The contours seemed a tad dif but not too bad.

actually I think the lines on the doors are slightly off but I'm sure you would have to swap the whole front clip (bumper,hood, fenders)
