Well after 50000 miles on a blown head gasket my 93 MK8 said no more. It was blowing up my hoses like balloons and shooting water from around the fill cap. Anyone who has cobra heads or a swap let me know. I will be trying to bring her back BLOWN

If that's your game you may want to go with the "C" generation heads.

YAY its alive!!! Guess I have been breathing too much brake dust at work and killing braincells. I flushed my radiaitor today and there was no green.... oops.. I flushed till it ran clear and refilled 50-50 following the steps.. No problems now. Still want it either blown or boosted. Guess ill have to find another excuse.

I drove it to work 2 days and it started running hot. Checked the fluid the next day and it was low. I just figured I got a air bubble or something so I pulled the crossover cap, filled it up and started it. After about 7 min of running I ended up with old faithful out the crossover tube. It was spurting coolant out at random probally about 3 to 4 feet in the air. I didnt figure this was a good sign and confirms my orginal conculsion about the head gasket. So it is parked for now but I just purchased my replacment engine today and its not computer controlled hehe. So I now have the drivetrain out of the car for sale including the wiring harness and 2 ecms. Any offers?????
