I was perusing thru the super coupe performance website, and came across this item. Has anyone tried this, or know someone who has? I see it comes with the new 1-2 accum. and 2-3 accum. Looks like it comes with a different 1-2 spring also.

sounds like they drilled a stock plate and added accum parts,
no too bad i guess, atleast you will still have your old stock plate if you want to return to stock shifting, but if you dont ever want to go back to stock ,i say save $70+ and drill yours

Once you drill it out you will never want to return to the stock. Just drill it !!

I got it in my car, works great, itll chirp second gear everytime. but the first month or 2 i had it in ( i guess it was still rbeaking in a little bit) it would chirp into second at like 3k or higher rpms. which is still cool with me

I take it you installed the spring thats included in the kit? I would prolly just check my springs and accum. to make sure I have the updated pieces. I'm not looking to chirp gears, I just want more positive shifts.

I had a FT separator plate. Good stuff- especially if you have a pre-98 tranny.

Is that everything you need for the JMod except filter and fluid? Im thinking it may be less trouble than piecing a J Mod together.
