Need stereo help...

I just installed a new aftermarket head unit in my 2002 LS. Now, the interior speakers sound somewhat tinny and distort at medium to high volumes. I have inspected the wiring harness, all connections are tight and match in color.

Any ideas?

BTW, it was audiophile Alpine in-dash 6disc changer before it was yanked

Check to make sure that you have a good ground and if you have subs and an amp make sure that the RCA's are not ran close to the power wire anyhere.

Hope that helps some.

I have good grounds, but the problem is not with the subwoofer. The sub sounds great! The problem is with the interior speakers. Perhaps I got the wrong wiring harness? I know I disconnected 3 harnesses from the stock deck, but only used the largest for the aftermarket head unit. I got it from a local stereo shop, let me see if I can find the packaging.
