New Custom or OEM floor mats?

Hello again...........another "where to" question.

Looking for new oem black floor mats. Have to have the logo on them. For 2001 LS8. Would just like to get the 2 front ones (got 2 back ones cheap off eBay the other day).

These are much wider than the stock mats and will cover the entire floor.

thanks ken. I'm looking for those wider types but just need the 2 front. Any chance it could be arranged? Or us anyone looking for back mats in black??? Heh

Unfortunately, those only come as a set of 4. I'm sure someone here may need a set of rears or just keep them for spares later down the road.

Still looking for some mats that will match mine. Dealer says they are discontinued, so I have to go aftermarket for my color.

What color interior do you have? Ken has black, grey and tan.

A couple of thoughts...

First, you can get a pair of front mats from a third party vendor. GG Bailey (www.ggbailey.com) and Lloyds (www.lloydmats.com) are probably the best, and are recommended by many LS owners. However, I did a quick search, and the Bailey mats cost $70 for the front pair, and the Lloyds cost $95 for the front pair. In addition, neither Bailey nor Lloyds offer the original Lincoln star.

If you want the Lincoln star, you can get the full set of premium OEM mats that Ken sells for $70. Alternatively, you can get plain black mats from one of the vendors above and add your own iron-on Lincoln star emblem. I did that with my rear mats and custom trunk mat, and I think it looks good. The iron-on patches show up on eBay every now and then.

I can get any Lloyd mats if anyone is interested. I haven't added to the website yet but they will be on the newly redesigned site. Also, I have the iron on patches that Todd has above.

If it is the discontinued gray the other OEM gray ones look fine. Mine matched just fine. I think they may have just changed the name. The color looks like a dead on match. (I was very concerned about that initially too!)

Mine are that dark smoke'ish color. I got black back ones and it looks pretty dead on.
