still looking into mufflers for the LS lol.

despite cherrybombs loud reputation, i wonder if these would be a bad muffler to go with. small to help me keep my hidin exhuast but also free flowing enough that i shouldnt have to worry about having to take off the resonators like most people do with flowmaster super 40's to get it louder. plus there cheap.

anyone have any thoughts? or heard them befor? would the 2.5 inlet be a problem getting it on my car?

They can weld it together.

As far as what I think, "IMO" they arent a good call for this kinda car.

Honestly, they seem a bit cheap and could potentially ruin this type of car....

Yup, thats what Im thinking myself.

i dont think id put em on my car. but i want to hear them, so put them on yours and post a clip.

I replaced the stock muffler with a glass pack on my 5.4L F150. I didn't want it to be too loud like some of the no muffler trucks out there. But I wanted it louder so I could enjoy the sound. I found it to be a good combo for me. Plenty loud if I jumped on the gas but at the same time, while at cruising speed, you could barely hear the rumble. Perfect!

But I'd never do that to this car. I think it would just be too much noise. Plus, would the 3.9 even sound as deep and throaty as the 5.4? I'm not sure...

LS with glasspacks and straight pipe on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3bAIRfokA8

That sound quality was kinda bad but I think that sounded like crap anyway!

wow that was freakin loud. the ls is no muscle car, glasspack=not going on my car.

Posted by: Eliot_Ness_Ls

It didnt even sound like a muscle car, it sounded like a leaking bong.
