
... but yeah not as much smoke as I anticipated... I only used a 1/4 can though... figure I'll slowly keep doing this over time... don't wanna gum up my engine!...
lol. Might use abit of ATF as well, for good measure.

ATF I would not use in this engine. Keep in mind you need to rev it a lot - so 3am may not be the best idea

ATF is good for carburated engines, not EFI. In essence the ATF fluid mixes with the gas and air. WIth EFI, it will not mix since the gas is injected near the piston. I guess what can happen is the AFT may pool at the bottom of the intake.

I cant say i have heard of ATF being put in the intake, but we learn something new everyday. Im not that bothered really, its just i got spare ATF hanging about the place and figured i could put some to good use when the time comes. I wouldnt drive with it in there, just let it idle for a few mins then drain. That water idea is a new one on me also... lol.
