intermitent starting

my 92 ltc only starts when it wants to. at first it only did it every once in a while when it rained. now it does it alot and sometimes when its dry i was late to work once and that was the last straw. anyone know whats going on? any help is a big help.

I have had such troubles with various cars. Start real simple. First, Check you have fuel getting to the engine. Next, check you have spark. Then go from here.

no sorry i didn't give enough details. the battery is good, but sometimes when i turn the key i hear no sound not even a click. then eventually it will start normally and never hesitate or anything. happens usually when rainy.
