EXP12 Very Low Refrigerant-A/C Compressor Turned Off

Is there a DIY fix for this problem or do I need to take it into the dealer, it just came up on the dash two days ago on a drive up to the lake. Needless to say, it was a hot sticky weekend with no A/C.
Any help would be great.
