I am new to the Lincoln scene, and I was wondering If there is a way I can tell what model my car is. I see some LS's with chrome on the front and rear bumbers and some w/o ( mine included), obviously diff. rims ect. I just wanna know If I have a sport model or not. My car is a 02 LS8, dont really know what else to tell you guys about it...
Thanks

PS I also tried searching but found nothing on this topic.

I "thought" the general rule of thumb was chrome on bumpers = base, no chrome = sport...I could be wrong here.

...long story short , learned here LVC , chrome? =NO sport!
No chrome = sport!

Yep! So since you said you have no chrome on the bumpers then that would mean you have a sport pkg

There were 4 models. Base, Sport, Premium, and LSE. According to Cars.com. The base model had 16" wheels and chrome trim. All others had 17"s, unless they were special order.
Then of course, the Sport has body colored trim on the bumpers.
