Motortrend did a story on the MKZ (crossover) a few weeks ago and said that Lincoln is trying to design for a younger crowd, but that thing is ugly. MKS (Maxima-wannabe?) looks too Japanesey on the exterior and too 1980's with the interior. I think the new BMW, Infiniti, and Cadillac interiors are the best designs there has ever been.

Personally, I don't care for the BMW interiors. Of the bunch posted above, the Cadillac interiors look very nice.

The Chinese SLS version (bottom most pic) looks by far the best.

Yep, have to agree with that! Why can't Ford design something like that for Lincoln???

It's a kill switch for the PCM; apparently, it's standard equipment for test vehicles with the electronic throttle. Test cars don't have complete programming, and are missing important things like the ETC failsafe code, so you need a way to kill the engine if something goes wrong.
