Meaning of Thanksgiving...

As seen thru the eyes of a 9 year old.

T hank you God for
H elping me be patient with my brothers
A nd helping me not fight with my brothers
N ot talking back to my parents
K nowing the Holy Spirit is with Me
S aving my life from Asthma
G iving me my parents and my three brothers
I n heaven, I will meet God and Jesus for the first time
V ictory towards God about changing the world
I nvisible God is
N ever betray God
G ive food or money to the poor.

The author... my son Benjamin this Thanksgiving evening.

He made it tough to chew and swallow for a while.

I hope all of you had a Happy Thanksgiving...

Ya, we sat down to say our prayer before the big meal today and he says, Dad, I want to say the prayer. Almost knocked me off my chair and then delivers that with flawless execution. He wrote it and had been practicing it for a week. I asked him to show me the page he wrote. It now hangs in my office. Helps to keep you grounded, that's for sure.
