I've noticed this problem the last couple of weeks but it seems that most of the time, not everytime, i turn the wheel left on my car, my subs stop working. Why this is i have no idea, maybe somebody does??? I'm guess its a wire shortage or something along the lines of that...also evey now and then i'll hear a reasonably loud "bump" from my subs, just out of no where, any ideas on what thats all about?

Sounds to me like you've already got the problem narrowed down. You shouldn't need any more help from us, not like we can dig around in your car for you and find the loose wire or anything.

I'm gonna assume that this is far from a factory system. If you had it installed by a shop though, take it to them and make them fix it. Otherwise, turn it on and start wigglin wires until you find the culprit.
I did have a similar problem with an old amp of mine. Got it free form a friend because he said it didnt work right. I hooked it up and had no trouble with it for about 6 months, then all of a sudden it would start cutting off when I hit a bump or turned really hard. Checked all the wires about 50 times, then finally narrowed it down to an internal problem int he amp. So I picked it up and turned it upside down and heard something metal rattling around inside. The screw that held the ground terminal to the circuit board inside had come loose and worked its way out. So I fixed that and have had no trouble with it since.
