Awesome pics! I saw the northern lights once when I was younger but they didn't look anywhere near THAT good. It would be amazing to see that.

I was out that same night watching them they were great. When I saw this site I thought Man I wish I could have taken those shots.

The Aurora Borealis - That's a sight to see alright

I grew up in Southeast Alaska, went to college in Fairbanks Alaska where in the winter it gets down to -60... There the Aurora Borealis was a constant show, happened every night, and some of the day too since we had 24 hour nights... Never really did appreciate them until I saw those pix here... makes me home sick...
