For those who remembered my on going thread from last year on my Daughters and their success in Track and Field...

Proud Dad and Coach has an update on Youngest Daughter's Senior year...

Tuesday May 2nd Youngest Daughter attempted a new event... Triple Jump..

On her first attempt of this event ever she broke the school record and went a distance that would have last year qualified for state. (She did this with very little effort). This year we have been bumped up to Division 2 and her effort in the Triple Jump is just a few inches short of finishing in the top four of last years D2 State Qualifiers.

Tuesday she also ran a time in the 100m dash that would have qualified also in D2 for state last year.

Friday she will run the 200 m and also long jump (the event which she placed 4th at state last year).

Also on Tuesday her 4 x 200 meter Relay team broke a long standing record.

As of now my Youngest Daughter holds 7 school track and field records the most every by any one athlete in our schools history.

Daddy is very proud...

Hoping to enjoy a great State Meet again this year.

Hey Proof Read your post!!! n00b

But after deciphering what you posted LOL
Well we'll have to see this coming summer when we meet up in Jackson Hole WY... I'll find a large mean Grizzly and then we'll time the run... If you don't mind I don't want the bear chasing my daughter LOL

Works for me... As long as I can bring along a knife to defent against the Grizzly in case I trip or something.

New Update...

Youngest Daughter had her Conference Track Meet last night. Won 3 of 4 individual events and score more points than anyone female athlete at the meet.

Daughter won the 200m, Long Jump, and Triple Jump, and also finished 2nd in the 100m had a bad start and didn't recover.

Next Monday is Regionals then Thursday Sectionals, Then a break on State on the 1st of June. We were moved up a division so competition will be a bit tougher getting to state this year. She has a good chance in the 100, 200 and Triple Jump.

Congrats buddy, and congrats to you're daughters.

Well Sectional track meet was held on Thursday... and Youngest daughter too 4th in the Triple Jump and 4 x 100m relay came in 1st.

So both Triple Jump and 4 x 100m relay are headed to the state meet next Friday and Saturday.

I've got a video of the 4 x 100m relay that as soon as I get it off the camera I am putting up for those who are interested... All I can say is Wow... that girl can fly....

Coach and Daddy are very very proud...
