hood ornament?

ok this may be a little ballparkish but i was just thinking.. how would a lincoln hood ornament look on a ls..? any ever seen someone do it and have a pic?

It dont look to bad but bad enough hat yuou shouldnt do it.. There are some Ls's out there with hood ornaments on them. I posted one from Japan that had one and I had seen about 2 around my way with them looking kinda factory and more proportioned but I dont like it myself.

someone already put it on their LS.. i believe they also are on cardomain.. do a search for lincoln LS hood ornaments.. u'll see how it looks on an LS

It all depends. With the versatility of the LS you can basically go down two roads, sporty and classy. If you follow the sporty lines and get like gunmetal, black or any type of racing wheel along with some other minor modifications, the hood ornament would be out of place. On the contrary, if you followed the classier style like a few members have, Artur (HyeLifeLS) in particular, then the ornament wouldn't look bad at all IMHO. I've seen it on an Autumn Red Metalic with an LSE grille and it didn't look out of place really.

LS's don't have strong enough bumpers to require a sighting device mounted on the hood.

Yeah I just had a deja vu reading this, I remember someone in the other thread photoshopped one in and it looked silly, but who knows, you might be able to pull one off (or buy a town car

)
