how do you have a carburated engine with fuel injection???

In days gone by it was a mechanical pump injection, and yes it's a little confusing.

I had Webers on my 65 Cobra and I can attest that other then losing your wicked CACKLE that the car once had it is an amazing set up. Took me days to set them up properly but with the help of Inglese (Weber God's) I had that thing so snappy it sounded like a freakin' 2 stroke dirt bike. Plus that one is FI so I can only imagine the freakish throttle response.

Here it is installed.
