adjustable pedal problem...

wass up every1 my adjustable pedals got stuck the other day, then got loose and now whenever i move it. it struggles and makes a ugly noise.. any1 kno wat should be the problem?

I do.

Wild guess, but probably the gears got chewed up. Get under there and work the switch and see if you can see what's going on.

They were added as an option in '03, IIRC. My '04 had them, but my '06 doesn't. Their position is included in the driver's seat memory settings, BTW.

Are you sure?? I thought the adjustable pedals were standard on the V8's.

2000 V8 here with no adjustable pedals...that i know of

I haven't checked the order guides for other years, but according to the '05 brochure I have handy, they're listed as optional across all arrays (though V6 Luxury didn't get the memory function) and standard on none--and my '06 definitely doesn't have them.
