can anyone tell me what a difference this thing makes? i was thinking of getting one but wanted to know how well it works? and has anyone had any problems with it? thanks guys.
This is the result of using the search feature for "xcal".
I have the Xcal1 with the same tunes anyone can get for an Xcal2 and it opens the car up well. Greatly enhances the automatic shifting, since we can't get a manual V8.

I had a 98.02mph and a 98.04mph pass tonite at the track with a new tune from Torrie. Before the tune 95.81mph was my best. I couldn't beat my best time I set Tuesday with a milder tune, only because the track was quite slick tonite. Even with mid 2.2 to mid 2.3 60's I hit 14.5 once and 14.6 6 times. Even with a bad 2.35 60' I hit 14.6, prior to the Xcal2 I needed 2.1 60's to hit 14.6 and a 2.35 60' would get me 1 15.2/3. If I'd hit the 2.123 60' I hit the other night I would have a 14.3 easy maybe 14.2.
I break it free on the 1-2 and squak the 2-3 everytime, its like a entirely different trans. Not to mention I the SST1 fix worked on my 02.
