Rev up problems...

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I changed the LH Valve Cover gasket yesterday....but before I changed it I couldn't rev my car up past 3 RPM....it was missing before I changed it and got a code that spark 8 was bad or misfiring so I changed the plugs and the coil...but now when driving it doesn't miss...but if its in park and I rev it up it still won't go past 3 RPM...is that another faulty coil???

Park and Neutral have a 3K rev limiter.

really??? well I have never seen anything like that...I rev it up and it stutters at 3 RPM...that's weird...my other cars never did anything such....yours does that too???

Not anymore, raised it to 6k with my Xcal2

I had that to. I noticed just after the coils were fixed and flipped out at the dealership. Boy did I look dumb, I never guessed it was that. Why is it so low?

So you don't do 6000+ RPM Drive dumps.
