HID convert..

Does anyone know if I can just put hid in the 95 mark viii without replacing the housing?

And not a stock HID setup.

Its a stock housing and the hid will fit the housing. www.gohid.com is the website I was looking at.

It wont work well. Sure, you'll get light but the halogen housing will fracture the light all over. Focal point and such a mute problem when you do this. You can see how the front of you lens is not clear like glass, it has a refractive pattern to disperse light. HIDs dont work well in these. To make it fit right, you will need a 9500 base NOT 9005. If you go 9005, which is a HID, you will have to figure out how the heck your gonna mount these and make em water tight.
