Trouble with CDs burned from itunes?

Has anyone experienced trouble with CDs burned from itunes?

I burned a CD yesterday, which works fine on the computer, on my CD player at home and in my Mustang, but my 99 Eldo only gives back "CD Error".

My car has the Bose sound system, so wtf?

1. Use a REAL computer, aka a one that is running Os X.
2. Some players are picky about what CD brands they play.

being a 99 it might not have mp3 compatibility

Chicken might be righ. I didn't think you might be trying to burn an MP3 disk. Even so, the fact that not all CD manufacturers work in all audio players. Even in Audio CD format.

It's definitely not an mp3 disk, just a regular CD disk burned from itunes. However, the brand is FUJI, the quality is no good but I thought "just how bad can they be?".

Anyway, maybe it's a temperature problem. It was on my morning commute that the disk didn't work, later in the afternoon it worked fine after the car had been sitting on the parking lot getting some sunshine all day.

I'll definitely burn a new disk using a better brand this time.

Have you used other CD-R's in this stereo before? Once you find a brand that works, stick with it. What type of burner are you using? I've had problems with CDs that were recorded using a newer DVD burner. You can also try recording at a slower speed and see if that helps.

I tried a different burned CD this morning, which was also a different brand. That CD worked fine even though the Fuji-CD kept coming out with "CD Error".

So I guess it really is the brand, not the temperature or the burner.

I'll buy a blank CD by a different brand this week-end and try it again. Since the Fuji disk seems to work in my other car, at least then I won't have to take the CD back and forth.
