Mark VIII AV8R

Just bought a 95 Mark VIII w/ 66k on it. Body was rougher than described by owner, but the car seems to drive very well. I got 27 mpg driving it to TX a couple weeks ago. I need some new headlights for it. Suggestions?
I got this car because I bought a 98 Cobra when I got back from OIF III. Love my Cobra, but wanted a daily cruiser to keep the miles down on the Stang. I absolutely love that 4.6 DOHC 32V. What a great engine!
Already been researching fixes on the site. Good stuff. Great site! See you on the highways...

As far as the headlights, there are no aftermarket choices, so its new halogen housings, or HID housings and bulbs, which will cost over a grand from Ford. I think the halogens are around 400 or so.

Headlight options:

1. install driving lights behind the grill.
2. Have the headlights restored.
3. Purchase new halogen headlights.
4. Install HID headlight assemblies from a '96LSC

The driving lights are the cheapest and easiest. The HIDs are the most expensive, but they work beautifully.
