What are you guys using for front end bras?

I've got sort of a half a bra on my 98 that's the clear kind. Not too happy with it though. Now then, I don't quite know when it was installed, or what brand of plastic it is, but so far I'm not too keen on getting a clear bra for another vehicle that I wish to protect the front end of.

What brands are you guys running for conventional bras? Or, if you are running a clear plastic type bra, what brand? Thanks.

To those who I like to harass about searching:

I've searched already, but the forum software won't allow searches of such short words as "Bra". Actually, the software will allow the search, but our illustrious leader has capped it at a certain minimum number of letters.

Get a clear bra. The kind that's some 3M adhesive film that goes right on the paint and protects it that way. More expensive than a regular car bra, but regular car bras look like complete on just about anything. No offense to those who have them, just my opinion.

Yes, it is true. All strap on bras mess up your paint. Besides inevitably causing scratches, when they get soaked with water, natural osmosis causes the water to seep ito the paint and stain it.

I am leaning towards the clear bra thing, but as I said earlier, my 98 has pieces of it on the bumper, and its starting to look like crap. Might have my local body shop tear it off and possibly repaint the bumper if they cant save it. Alas, as I said, I dont know when it was put on, or what manufacturer it is. I know 3M makes good stuff.

Thanks guys, I think a clear bra it will be.

The 1980's are calling and they want their black vinyl car bras back...

I had one on my 85 T-Bird it was great because I traveled some on a gravel road while my house was built. If I did a enough highway trips I would consider one of the clear ones. They do protect well.
