My car has been having trouble starting for the past 2 weeks. So I finally dropped off the car at the dealer on tuesday to find out whats causing this issue. I have a brand new battery in the car. When I dropped off my car they told me they will diagnose the problem and if its not warranty covered item then I have to pay $99 diagnostic charage. The only after market thing in the car is double din sterio (no amp or subs), HID lights and Viper 791XV. Can any of those things avoid the extened waranty?

Yes, if your alarm is causing a draw they will charge it to you. That and you say you have an extended warranty? They don't cover much. Usually just powertrain problems. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear. It sucks but I used to have to deal with that on a daily basis.
