Its getting to be that time. As some of you know i visited the track abit in spring and again in fall last year. Some have shown interest in meeting up to run or even just hang out and watch. I'm starting this thread so I can post days I'm going so anyone who has the time and wants to come out they can say so. Obviously the weather may change when they open, but its coming up fast.

Sounds like fun.. If I have a free weekend with no track meets I'll try to get over.

A good friend of mine neighbors the track. You can see it from his porch. My wife been trying to get over to see them so it would be a good excuse to get there.

what are you talking about! Last I remember you didn't show up because the car couldn't make it down the track!

Hopefully my car is ready this summer, either way I'll bring it to the track.

No...the question is, what are you talking about? The past 3 years that I have gone to the track, drag/road course I made it just fine in my GTO or WS6 TA...anyway, I'll be there in my LS...I'll just be goin a tad slower.

Well last minute I decided to go today, didn't post it as it was supposed to rain and just hoped to get there and run a few times before it did. Big mistake, it was crowded and just about when I was getting close to get my first run it started raining. Making it worse was I was stuck in the staging lanes and couldn't even leave. 3 1/2 hours later the track was up and running so I was going to run that once and leave. Left my Trac Control on by accident, track was still abit slick so it kicked in killing my 60' and entire time. Bummer.

The LSE.

The LSC is still parked for winter. Plus I'm trying to hit a new best with the LSE now that I have the Xcal2. I'll move on to the LSC after I drive it abit more, only drove it a little after it was running again.

I'm even hoping to run the CobraII before the summers over (still needs work) got a good tow vehicle now.

hmmmmm, but leaving after work on fri and driving up there would put me there around 7ish and after a day of work, yeaaaaa that aint gonna go over too well with the wife (also in car) i dunno ill have to look at the schedule and see when a "test and tune" comes up that we could make it to on a sat, easiest to work in......well usually

I want to hit the 14.3s with the LSE first, then the 20s are going on and its done racing for the summer, maybe a race here and there.

I'll switch to the Mark then. I want to drive it more around town before I start beating it. Only did a few miles before parking it for winter. But its next.

Looking to go this Wednesday. Weather looks like its going to be clear. Its looking abit chilly too so the track may be a little slick but we'll see.

I have a 4:00 appt and can't say exactly when I'll be done but I live only 30minutes away so I'll go if I can be there 7-7:30.

Anyone??

Nope. Always game to race. At worst I'll have my 20s on...really itching to bolt them on almost did last weekend, then it will harder to go as much as it will no longer be a moments notice thing.

Put it this way I don't even fill up past 1/2 tank these days unless I have a longer trip that day. I stop home throw my sales equip and spare in the garage, stop at the gas station to top off the fronts and hit the freeway to the track. I'm ready in 10 minutes. Once the 20s are on it'll be alot more prep to go.

I definately will go when a fellow LSer is game and would enjoy meeting some LLSOC guys.

Now I might not make it because last night when it rained I had my car on jacks on a gravel driveway and one jack sunk to one side and went through my oil pan. The one day it rains all month!!!!!!!

Its that time again. I've gone twice already, kinda last minute so I didn't post.

so with my 2 good runs (first was a HOT lap after driving for a hour then straight to the strip, it did a 16.something bla bla bla) i set my dial in at 15.15 and took 2nd place, would of got 1st cept i spun off the line.

I am headed done in the morning with the yellow turd. My Friend Highline Cady will be at the track with his slow DHS. That would be a good match for a mustang or a Lincoln. I think the factory time was a 16.1? He has a set of new Vogues on it so I am thinking 14.8
