gen 1 intake tube bolt ?

Is there a way to take the intake tube bolt which connects the tube to the throttle body out from the tube? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, but I forget how I did it... In fact I think I shipped one out to "Unity" about a year ago... I think it may be a two piece bolt; meaning the top part threads into the fat collet sleeve... You need the tube out to seperate them. I think that's how it's done...

I took off the intake tube today but i'm not sure how you can take off the bolt? What tool do you need?

You basically need a pair of vice grips to hold onto the thick section to break the upper bolt loose from it; they're held together really tightly... lol

Here are the two sections I'm talking about... Back off my L337 Paint skillz...

It comes off with a 1/4" ratchet and then the lower bolt that goes into the tb is a 10mm or somethin like that....
