Raising height

I have a 96 lincoln mark VIII and I want to replace the front air bags with coil springs. But the trick is that I want my car to sit up higher than normal. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Why do you want it higher? You could use Tbird struts with some custom coils on them.

to fit the 38" swampers of course.

I have never heard of anybody wanting to go up with their MkVIII, why you wanna do that?

Yeah why in the hell would you want to do that?

I really don't understand why you want to go any higher, but I'm pretty sure the "stock height" coil conversion kit from American Air puts you at the usual "city driving" height which is about 0.8" higher than the normal "parked height". That should be plenty high enough for any Mark VIII. Too high for me, though. (Went with the 1.5" drop option.)

Do the coil conversion with heavy duty coil springs from a thunderbird. That'll raise you up to the stratosphere. Planning on off-roading with the Mark?

Or you could put 22"s on it, that should do it lol!
