Aftermarket Hids?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Anyone install any aftermarket Hids (Xenon) kits onto a 93-96 non Hid Mark?

Yes. The lens are not the right type, it will be slightly brighter and clearer then stock and minimal glare due to the refraction lens (versus a clear lens). But if you headlamps already suck (yellow, etc) they wont do a thing for ya.

Im goin to try and wet sand it. Then eventually I want the HID head lights but with aftermarket bulbs and all.

How is the reflective chrome on the inside? If its no good then the hids wont do much, but if the reflective part is good and you can clear up the lens then ya got a good chance.

Since someone will say it, I may as well This is not street legal so if your in an area with inspections you may fail.

Was a thought. I work for a BMW dealer I am waiting for 2 Xenon headlamps that was replaced under warranty and not called back by BMW. I want the projectors and work them into the headlamps.

Someone is doing projectors now, not much room....

I've got a set of HID's for sale. asking $750.00 if anyone is interested. The reflectors are perfect 10s the lens has a bit of hazing but would still rate an 8. My nephew bought me brand new ones so, these will go bulbs have less than 42,000 miles on them. I got them with 36,000 miles and I rarely drive at night.

I have noticed that that is pretty much the set price on those things. Way out of my price range.
