Spring time spending spree.

So Ive been thinking about painting my car and would like some ideas. Just got the remote start, new viper alarm, and camera installed. Next is probably the body kit. The color is going to determine the body kit. should I just leave it the same color? Also been thinking about the dodge ram daytona burnt orange.

do a midnight blue with some sparkle on it, i dont think orange would suit the LS well

I like the blue idea, but my interior wouldnt go, and I dont intend on touching my interior, way too much money and why mess up something that looks so good.

+1 midnight blue w/ sparkle looks nice, imagine the evo blue with sparkle and darker, looks nice

i would say either the blue but if u didnt want to touch the interior that orange 1 looks hott i think and would stand out GREAT but my .02 says either get a red or the orange 1

I love the way the factory Vivid Red looks if your considering a red color. There are a few of them on here and i think they look damn good.

No more money, bought a 1994 5.0 GT today, Paid 3000. Has a brand new engine and all bolt on components such as power steering and water pump. New rag top.Some kid saved up all his money to build the motor, finished it and then got in trouble with the law. Parents took it away and sold it to me. I was looking for a Mark, but all the ones in good shape are overpriced.

I do have a little work to do. Fix a/c, heater, rag top motor, one 1/4 panel, and will have to redo some interior. I guess it is time to give the LS a break. All I have left to do is body kit and paint, and if I get rich suicide doors. Here are some pics of the stang.

Thining about it, I think if I clean it up and a few minor details, I may be able to get 4000 to 4500 for it.

there is a car on LS wit that orange color.. doesnt go..

i personally am going to go with black and some flakes/sparkle in a neutral color, then swap the wood out my car to match the color.. havent decided.. maybe take the tints off the rear lights and go black wit red flakes..

Did you already find the body parts for your car? I saw some LSs on ebay that were being parted out last week. Yeah I pretty much decided, when I do paint it, it will probably be the same color. I just like how it hides all scratches, doesnt look too dirty, and keeps that luxury look, I would like black on black, but the upkeep would be insane, especially for as clean as I keep my car.

my car is fixed.. its been fixed for about a month.. ironically i tore my MCL and ACL in my right knee so i've been home, not being able to work and not being able to do much to my car.

i have 2 ten inch 360 degree rotating TVs and the airbag set up along with some new rims cause my old rims are no longer any good.. the question is do i want to install any of it or just sell it and leave the car as is...

i still have minor scratches all over my car but the damaged area was fixed, reason being was that i didnt want that shop to repaint my whole car.. as soon as my knee is in walking condition (surgery unfortunately).. then i can start working on my car again

You must have broke a mirror or something. fu<k that. some luck man. Well If you plan on keeping it, might as well add all of the stuff on, and paint it the color you want it.

Right now the camera is right above the speakers, mostly unnoticeable if your not looking for it. Great for the car shows I attend. Went to a local cruise in Saturday and everyone was flipping out. Have it setup right now so that it displays on all 7 screens. I have been searching for a small, rotating weather proof camera, so that I can install it exactly where I want it. This location will allow me to use it for backup/reverse and car show purposes. Right now it is only for show.

So far, new plugs, 8mm wires, msd coil, cut the exhaust(flowmasters wide open), rewired the convertible top, new groundstraps for the motor, new mass air flow sensor, had to repair the intake(heater hardlines are screwed and having trouble finding replacement, wheels and tires, cap, rotor,

Next, transmission has a leak (think its just the pan) passenger side rear 1/4 panel needs som TLC, rewire the radio and speakers, check wires for dash cluster. I may have the tranny rebuilt with a shift kit, and may change the rearend gears to 3.73s, I am debating on if I am going to buy all the stuff and teach myself how to paint.

Cant forget about the LS, May 5-6 my car is being entered in a major show, applied for an indoor spot and got approved. One of the bigger car shows for import, custom, exotic cars in Jacksonville. Just got my windows retinted, bought the front chrome strip, will be doing that in a week or so. Have two door dings I have to get removed. Still need new floormats, but nobody can match the color, not even the dealer. Still want a body kit and car repainted.
Just dont have enough money. I need to hit the Lotto.

yea those rims do make a world of a difference. that mustang in all black with that convertible top would look good IMO. plus it looksl ike that thing has potential(4.6L)

Another thing.. i have a place that more than likely can match ur floor mat color.. its called rivero upholstery.. they did my suede and have EVERYTHING u can think of.. let me know if u need a number or if u want to swing by

I am in Jacksonville Go Jags J/K. I thought about it, but I dont know enough to do the install. I was offered a complete setup installed for 2500. Just dont know if thats the way I wanna go. I think I really need the paint and body kit first. What did you ever do with the brakes and rotors from LS Koncepts, I was interested in those.

Got my spoiler in today. woo hoo. Hopefully have it on by next week. Big car show in Orlando this weekend. This will be the biggest show that I have probably entered. May 5th and 6th will be the Southeast Nationals. My car is going to be inside the showroom. Still debating on which body kit. Priced the suicide doors. 5 LARGE I just cant do it. Will get paint and body kit first.

Bought my new spoiler, had it painted by the dealer to match perfectly, and installed it today. Looking for my camera right now, I love it.

What color is your interior? I usually like to have my floor mats contrast the color of the carpet some. If you've got a dark interior, maybe get the floor mats a little lighter, or match them to a color that isnt used much inside, or some part that usually isnt very noticable? Just an idea.
I think that orange paint job looks pretty hot. Just a little darker and it would be perfect, then fade it to maroon/orange at the very bottom.
