Wsup people, need advice on a rag top leak on my SLS

Well I'm a newbie but I'm damn glad I found this forum...thanks google! anywayz....
I got a 94 SLS with a (I'm guessing) factory rag-top (tan with chrome screws) my roof leaks inside..would a vinyl top fix this???? please advise....

If the material is still in good shape without rips etc. the way some cars are done the material is stretched and glued to a second molded metal skin and screwed onto the top and after time water enters by the top of the windshield and travels to where the screws are and enters the car that way, that's if your car is done that way. Then the whole piece has to be removed and re-cauked and new screws put in.
