GEN 1 and 2 hood and wing ideas

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I had my wing and hood professionally done, but was custom fabricated!! I bought a used my old hood that was broken from a car accident and bought a new mustang hood fabricated them together and made this!! The wing was a custom fabricated to fit my car, but the wing originally was from a ford probe!!

I think that I like the hood not very sure about the wing, can you post some better pics with a better veiw?

Posted by: turborich

The hood looks good! I would pass on the wing though. The hood is bad azz!

Posted by: kustomizingkid

Can you post a pic of the whole car from a 3/4 type of veiw? How about the whole rear of the car from the same kind of angle.

heres a better view of the wing! also view my gallery for better pictures of the finished car!

I have to ask... Are you Color Blind????

Red and black painjob?

Oh well. To each his own, I guess...

Posted by: turborich

Yeah, I don't think the wing works, It doesn't follow the lines of the car.

Post wings never work on a humped trunk, major line clash.
Thats why we specifically went with a flat design that molded to the cars lines.

I'd like to see that hood from the side. Does it run the length of the hood from grill to glass?

It looks great. I love it when people still invest the time and effort to make these cars "custom."

Posted by: Scorpio1118_2000

Ok now that I have seen the hood , I like it very much

Posted by: Iszi

Hood looks great, but I'm not a big fan of the wing either. The paint job isn't quite right for the Mark, but it does kind of take attention from the out-of-place wing.

Posted by: Scorpio1118_2000

I agree with Iszi that wing is not my cup of tea either, but the hood is good.

Posted by: jerryjfunk

That hood looks great! If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you all together?

Posted by: DFord94

The Costs

hood- $3400

Wing- $400

Paint- $2000, but that was us doing all the work

misc- $ 5000 wheels tires etc.

Firstly, the hood looks real hot big props on that. Secondly i'd replace your cobra emblems with the Cobrastars that Geno sells , thirdly i'd replace the spoiler with the Mark 8 Spoiler Geno Sells. Other then that the car is real hot but i'm not feeling the paint but it's definetly unique. What inspired you into creating your mods?

Posted by: DFord94

Well im a big mustang fan, but everyone has one!! SO I WANTED TO STAND OUT! my grandmother wrecked the car, so i bought it off her. Then I decided on the mods by wanting to be different. Some people dont like it obvisously but its the way I wanted it so tough!

I like it.

The paint is bold...but definately sharp.

Great job on the hood and the wing. While I don't think I'll ever do either to mine, I think they turned out good. The lines of the wing actually fit the Mark well.

LOWER IT.
