Lse..?

I searched online to find out if I had the LSE package or not. I don't know if they are always badged LSE on the back. This article went over 00-02, 04, and 05 but not 03' which is the year I have.

Here's a pic of my car. Any help?

That's not an LSE. The chrome grille and rear license plate surrounds are dead giveaways, as is the front fascia.

Also, there are no '03 LSEs. The only years for the LSE were '02, '04, and '05.

okay, another question.. how would i know if i had the "sport package" or the "ultimate package"

i just wish i had the damn window sticker and i wouldnt have to ask so many damn questions

The most noticeable Ultimate package cues are the adjustable rear headrests and the wood trim (shifter, steering wheel, etc). There's not a whole lot of difference between the Sport and Ultimate packages.

well i have all those things you just said so I would have the Ultimate?

Do i still have the sport suspension i've heard of?

If you have the SST shifter, you should have the sport suspension. The suspension is not different between the Sport and Ultimate; in fact, the wood and the adjustable rear seat headrests are the only features unique to the Ultimate package.

There was a special cold-weather package with the non-Sport suspension, but it also had 16" wheels and the non-SST shifter.

Wouldn't the "ultimate" have the navigation system and the "premium" have the 6 CD in dash? Just trying to figure out what the heck mine is, since it has the SST, wood and adjustable rear headrests, but no nav.

I mean, it seems like common sense to me, but we all know how Ford is

For 2003, the top of the line model was the Premium Sport, which is what you have. In 2004 and 2005, that name was changed to Ultimate. Your car also has the sport suspension (all V8 models in 2003 had sport susp.)

The THX/NAV was an option on all LSes.

I am also trying to figure out what I have. I have the window sticker for my 00 v8, and it says sport package, with euro suspention. However, the car does not have two tone interior, or the alpine sound system with the speakers in the center counsle. Beets me. I guess you could order the sport package without the premuim sound?

thanks a lot for the info.

i don't have the navi, or the rear heated seats [that would be really nice for the passengers] or the extended park assist [that would drive me nuts the beeping]

the only thing i wish i had was the navi system but i can always purchase an aftermarket one.

I have the 00' Sport, and it does NOT have the Alpine Stereo, or two-tone either. It is definately a Sport, as I received the window sticker when I bought it used.

You did not get the shaft as there was no 2003 LSE. However since the LSE is simply a body kit you can convert your 03 to an LSE easily like I (and several others) have done...

kellyo-, i see you have soem Eibach Pro Lowering springs. how's the ride? and how much did it lower your car?

i also noticed in your signature you have a SCT PCM Xcal II flasher. what does that do for your car?

Ride is no problem. Handles better but have to be careful over speed bumps, etc.

Do a search on this board for the SCT. It is a tuner that allows you to get rid of speed limiters, rev limiters, change and firm shift points, and also change timing etc to improbve performance. This is very useful if you already have an open intake and exhaust. Torrie has the best off the shelf tunes for us.

Well the lower lip of my bumper is pretty scraped up. I have learned not to pull up too close to the stops in parking spaces or to curbs....
