no pics yet just got my ls last friday and one of the coils went so its at the dealer now .I hope to get it back soon cause i miss it already ,sure beats my old continental,
Oh and only about 20 min to Philipsburg NJ

Lsvipdemon you dont happen to live near the giant i looked at your gallery looks awfull familier

Posted by: LSVIPDEMON

I live right by the Giant at Saylor Park. I hope you didnt take it to Haldeman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will rip you off bad dude!

Somebody that works there stole my wheels off the lot and droped the car on the ground, I found out who it was but they covered it up and the cops didnt care cause my insurance showed up rightaway.

Are you planing on doing anything to your LS?

Posted by: Iancusp

i dont even no where phillipsburg is
how close u guys to the betsy ross bridge

Posted by: LSVIPDEMON

Thats about an Hour or so away.

Posted by: Iancusp

well thats where im at we should meet up n put one in the air

Posted by: LSVIPDEMON

What all do you have done to the car? Iancusp, Anything?

Show some pics if you can. I wanna start a VIP "Styled" Ls group online and somewhat Localy, but I dont have the people. And that guy with the Black Ls sitting on the ground is totaly VIP styled, if the car was Jap it would be the best VIP Ive seen, I even got that from some people that are die hard Asian's with true VIP's. ( to be considered true VIP it has to be a Jap platform )

Posted by: Iancusp

i got aftermarket hids
intake with stainless pipe
20's with my rear end dropped (didnt get to the front yet)
flash tool soon to come just busy givin cops my money

Posted by: LSVIPDEMON

How and why did you only drop the rear? Do you have the springs for the front? By the end of Summer I will have my car on bags and my fenders rolled and pulled out. I found this guy with a nice ass LS on car domain in Jersey. But it has some stupid looking two tone color to it. The cool part is that he filled in all the seams and stuff, pluss droped it on bags.

Posted by: Iancusp

my dumbass tried doin it in the middle of the winter n i ended up sayin f that its to cold and just did the back since i already started it
i do have the front tho theyre eibach springs but i definatley want som airbags but i dont kno anything about that stuff
how much do u think id have to spend to get that on my car
and wat does it mean to roll and pull out your fenders

Posted by: LSVIPDEMON

Rolling is when you use a tool to push the lip in the fender well around the edge up against the inside of the body. Pulling is pretty much the same but in reverse pulling the fender out and almost widebodying it to fit bigger wheels in the well. With that lip that you have to roll it is a pretty nasty edge that can catch the wheel if you hit a bump to hard and damage the tire or wheel..I SEEN IT DONE, THANK GOD IT WASNT ME, at $210 a pop when they hit out my tires are way to much to have to replace.

Does haveing the rear lowerd only, keep it looking flush from front to back? I imagine it dont look like a S.Crenshaw Impala draging and sparking its rear cause the rear looks alot higher in the back on the LS. I hate that I need to even it out soon cause it makes my 20's look way smaller in the back. In fact my 20"s look small period on my car, pisses me off!

And the bags are alot, first you have to find someone experinced enough to put them on then trust them as well. Some people that know enough told me Im not doing a LS its tuff but then I had people that came off as whako's wanna jump right to it.

Posted by: Iancusp

do u get that done proffesionally (rolling and pulling) or o\do u do it
should i do it with 8.5 " wide tires

it doesnt look flush i definatley need to finish and drop the front its just a 2 man job so imma wait for a warm day me n my boy can finish on
they only bring it down an inch just enough for the tires to meet the top of the wheel well so u cant see the VERY top of the tire

Posted by: LSVIPDEMON

you dont need it with 8.5's I wouldnt think, I have 20x10 unless you wanna tuck them in like I do and I would see if someone can do it for you. It takes alot of heat like about 120 something degrees maybe more on the area you are rolling or your paint will crack the same goes for pulling.

If you wanna try this all on your own you can get a tool for about 200 something bucks that you take your tire off and bolt it to the studs, or do it like back in the day. Take a BaseBall bat place it under the fender wedged up in between the tire and have someone coast in reverse back and forth holding the bat nice and tight rolling towards you, but if you slip you can get hurt or hurt you car. another is that the rear has that door right there and I have yet to figgure out a way to pull it, oh and the bumpers have the lip to so I am not sure what to do about rolling the lip on them cause they arent metal. One thing I am sure of is, if you can figgure out a way to pull the fenders I would do it right where the crease is that creats that bit of fender flare pushing that crease out and actually trying to roll the lip down instead of up. This will creat a really good wide body look actually adding that inch that the crease takes away in the flareing on the fender flareing it out more.

I can see that from my house i got a good view when the one building was on fire a year ago , im on the other side of the river right near our lady of hungry.
And yes i took it to haldeman i had good service from them with my continental
. But ill never buy another car from rothrock now there is the worst dealership around
As for my ls hmm i want to get a lse spoiler and just do some minor mods for now not sure what i am gonna do i want a nav system in it , and maybe ill throw a custom paint job on it since painting is what i do but im in no hurry im just enjoying driving it for now

The Hobels are dicks, by law they were supposed to tell us about that fire when we moved in but they failed to, and I just happen to live in the building that went up. Everything that furnished the place was used and restored. As far as Haldeman, it was the Ford Truck and preowned that I got the car and had the BIG problem with, after that I went to Haldeman Lincoln, they treated us like trash as well but the mechanics were very good to us even made a friend with one. I see it as a age thing cause everyone I know under the age of 25 got treated like dogs by both places. And the very elderly as well. I actually filed a lawsuit against Ford preowned cause they gave us a false carfax report and told us the vehicle had one owner. Well when I wanted to buy another RX-7 I ran a check on the LS and it came up with 4 different owners all under fleet. Oh and looking at the report you can tell the car was beat bad cause the milage from owner to owner was very high in small periods of time.

One good thing is that it was a oneoff dealer package car meaning it was limited not like the LSE's not that cool but it came with different wheels and all kinds of books and leather stuff from Lincoln. The bad part is all I got where the wheels. And a vin # so low that everything that the car may be proned to, happend while I owned it.

Catman...What other body work do you do anything custom. Im looking for someone reasonably who can fill in my emblem space and paint my grill. Everyone wants a arm and a leg for such a small job, I am also looking for someone in the area that can fix the chewed up lip on my wheels and repaint them as well.

Posted by: catman02

well my body skills are so so i been painting for about 13 years but mostly on big trucks and tanker trailers , and i painted for amquip cranes for about 8 years so its mostly big stuff , but i have no garage yet planing on building one soon then perhaps ill do side work .
