Im think of ordering a few things from rock auto. Does anyone know about the airtex or trutech brands that they sell? These two brands seem to be excessively cheaper across the board causing me to wonder about their quality. The trutech fuel pressure regulator is especially cheap at $17.21 with the next cheapest being $43.79. Anyone have any experience with either brand?

Honestly I don't have any experience with RockAuto but I have looked on their site in the past and noticed the decent variety of products and cheap prices. But, the way I try to weigh things like that is if it sounds way too good to be true, then it probably is. And IMHO from what I've learned at school and all that I would just go with most of the replacement parts from the factory because I know I'll get something that is the right part and I'm not gambling on whether it'll work good or not... But once again, not saying it would be a bad idea but I'd just be careful with a lot of that stuff.

Just my $.02

I don't know about those brands but I've purchased from Rock Auto many times and I've been pleased with their price, speed of shipping and the parts that I've ordered.

The parts I usually order are from brands that I know.

I've gotten nothing but good stuff from rockauto. Airtex is an OEM supplier. Mostly old car stuff.

Just don't buy Power Steering Rack and Pinion Assembly bushings from Rock auto. Wrong bushings... I was on the phone with them for 30 minutes arguing this fact.

I haven't tried the band, but I have spent a small fortune at Rock Auto.

Excellent selection, prices, shipping, and customer service. They've corrected orders and sent me replacement parts without question in the past. When I buy parts for any of my cars, it's from one of two sources-

RockAuto and Max at Five Star Ford.

Yes, don't forget to call Maxx at 5 Star.. the items I've gotten from him were lower than Summit shipped. Maxx will treat you good.

Agreed with the Max Endorsement.
