Gray Arm Broken! Can I Replace?! Help!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hello. I proceeded with the task this afternoon of changing my blend door actuator. I get everything apart, find out the tip of the gray arm is broken off, and i cant seem to pull it out, although i didn't try too hard. AND my blend door actuator was broken as well, i have the supposedly "updated" part. But how do i fix the gray arm? I got the part # off of it it's F7LH19D846-BB but can i just replace the gray arm? Do i hate to take the dash completely off and take the heater box out and tear that apart to replace the gray arm?! HELP! lol... got a 500 mile round trip commin up this weekend as well! Thanks!

Well, i ordered the part from ford today, it was a WHOPPING $4.93, so at least it wasn't steep. But now the question is, is if i can remove the gray door arm/shaft without disassembling the heater box itself. Thanks!
