STS F55 Suspension Components

Hey there everybody, I have an issue with my 02 Seville STS. It has the F55 suspension in it. I just bought this and the guy that had it before me had replaced the rear shocks. After doing some digging, I have discovered that he had put the F45 shocks on it. Obviously not the right ones. I have the correct shocks now, but there is some kind of sensor that plugs into the top of the original ones that is no longer with my car. I have called multiple cadillac dealers in the area and no one can find what I am after. It is a grey connector, with a two wire plug into it. It actually plugs right into the top of the shock inside of the trunk compartment.

My question now is three fold...
1) Does anybody know that this "sensor" is called;

and

2) Does anybody have one of these cars that they could take a picture of this component and email to me??

and

3) If anybody has had this same situation, can you please give me any ideas on how to remedy this?

Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Without actually seeing what you are describing... I'll venture a guess.

It may be the auto leveling control. Does the rear air kick in when you start it?
