anyone here ever had an olds aurora? had a 4.0L version of the northstar... im jsut mentioning this cause i had one before my linc mark viii and it was a pretty quick, rather unknown car. mine ran a 15.5 with only a k&n panel filter and the intake silencers pulled out wiht 140K miles on the clock. Thought you caddy guys might have some respect for the ol aurora haha

Wasn't that the same car as the Buick Century? The looked nearly identical. Also, I think the Aurora was the last Oldsmobile before GM decided to kill that brand.
Hope they bring it back someday, it certainly would have been better than creating an entirely new brand like Saturn...

nah the aurora was kind of on its own... you might be thinking of the intrigue or alero... it did however share some parts with the buick riveria, but the riv had a supercharged v6 instead of the little northstar v8

I always like the style of the Aurora. Was considering getting one but when I ran into my Eldo there was no choice after that. Hell I was looking for a 97/98 Mark VIII.
