1983 Cadillac Eldorado

A friend of my dad's bought a 1983 Cadillac Eldorado at an estate sell. He is selling it to me for $500.00. I figured I can't go wrong. He said it drives great and just needs cleaned up. It has new tires on it and the air even still works. Should I be warry of anything on these cars? I know absolutely nothing about them at all. It has the HT 4100 and is loaded. The only thing that worries me is it was owned by an older couple and they bought it new. Hopefully it was taken very good care of. The other thing that I'm worried with is it has 140k miles. But for $500 I figured I can't go wrong, right?

dont think you will loose anything on this deal evan if the motor blew up-new tires on rims are worth the $500
