New to forum. 93 STS Problem

I have a 93 STS. When I shut the engine off, after about 10 minutes, the vehicle won't start. It just cranks and cranks. You have to wait for about 2 hours before it will start again. This just started after I replaced the oxygen sensor, also my milage dropped from 24 miles per gallon to 19-20. Any ideas with what might be the problem?
