Utility fuse jumper - 2001 STS

Hi Folks,

I was just wondering if anybody knows if the fuse position change for the utility outlets acctualy ever worked. I have my XM portable conected to the utility DC outlet and it will not shut down after ten minutes as the owners manual says. I tried to swap fuse positions and it still doesn't shut down. Any Ideas?
