Need brake proportioning valve & window regulator

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I need a proportioning valve [or two?] for a '93 Mark Vlll.
I also need a window regulator for the passenger side.
Anybody know where I can obtain these. Seems as tho FoMoCo has discontinued them.

Thanks, Tom

you need a regulator or motor? motor failures are common. regulator failures are not. i have a NIB regulator but i dont remember what side its for. i think its pass side.

you can get a motor from most aftermarket parts stores.

Thanks vr4,
I think it's the regulator because I can hear the motor running when I hit the switch & it has a 'klunk, klunk' sound.

Window motors and regulators are on ebay all the time. Ford put the same type of regulators in many of their vehicles. F-150 models made during the 90s have regulators that will work in a Mark VIII.

Here's one that should work just fine.

You could also just buy a rebuild kit. It's not difficult to replace the regulators at all.

No one will have a brake proportioning valve for a 93 for you unless you find a 93 in a junk yard. The 93 year Mark VIII has a different one than 94-98, best of luck to you...
