I am looking to confirm my factory keypad code numbers on a recently purchased 2003 Town Car.
The code the dealer gave me won't seem to let me program my own personal code for some reason. I think the code they gave me may not be the factory code, which is why I am unable to add a personal code. Either that or I am messing up a step during the programming.
I didn't see a code on the trunk lid.
Any where else I should look?
Thanks guys.

Try the glovebox. The owner's manual might have a white card with the number printed on it. Otherwise, haunt the dealer...

The white card is the ONLY thing that didn't come with the car. The dealer told me the code is "XXXXX" but I am still unable to program a custom code into the keypad.

Yeah, then I would haunt the dealer. The only other way would be to pull apart the driver's door and find white sticker on the module- but that might have changed for the newer models...
