How to replace rear steering knuckle

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: eldo99er

My mechanic says my 99 Eldorado has a worn out steering knuckle on the rear axis. He says that in order to replace just the knuckle one has to order the whole segment.

Is there some way one can just fix or replace the existing knuckle? Alternatively, where would I be able to get a used one? And how costly would that be?
